There is hope, in the Capital, that Arieki still lives and will return to save them, but it's rapidly fading as everything is gradually worsening. The nations are beginning to withdraw into themselves again, growing more and more hostile with each passing day. The tension is not lessened with the increasing presence of Angels and rumors that they want control of the world again.
