PUBLIC FIGURES. —Coriant Arieki [presumed dead] He was in the 'spotlight', per se, for several hundred more years than the Kauteensa Leader, yet about the same amount of information is known about him that is known about her. He is thought to be a high-level demon who decided to participate in the matters of the world in order to create peace, supposedly. He had a very close and devoted following, who were more often than not, the public face of the government. —The Speaker of the Council [presumed dead] A member of the Angelic Council spoken of in legend -- a golden haired, honey voiced Angel who took Cabriel into the sky. Myth says that he went to war against the gods of Drezen and won, taking their power for himself; those, however, are only stories. He features prominently in some religion's creation myths and is a common figure to reference when warning children about Angels. —Tacey Epona [alive] An old Camurael noble. It's rumored that she was alive during the Eris War, though she will not confirm or deny that. She's very kind and adventurous, but her age and power makes associating with her very dangerous. Occasionally, she is seen with a white haired man. —Mathain, Seeker of Knowledge [dead] Widely considered the greatest scholar among the Folk, perhaps all of Drezen, his works are primarily lost to history. Even a damaged copy of one of his books is worth a fortune. He was executed by the Angels for an unknown crime. Many students still seek to continue his work on magic, should they be lucky enough to come into possession of a copy. CLIMATE —The temperature drastically changes as you go through Drezen from the warm Capital to the icy home of the Leniel. There are three distinct seasons, although Drezen has a colder climate than say, Earth. TERMS The Collapse/The War These terms are used interchangeably, both describing the time period in between the age of tech and revolution. The Eris War Refers to a civil war between Angels that involved Colfay and the lost nation of Troyka. Not much is known about it, with the majority of it being speculation. Chryn A creature born with the ability to manipulate space and time. The last one showed himself around the Eris War. No one knows if he is still alive or if another chryn will take his place. Icerin Concordant Drafted by the Angels and signed by all nations, the concordant was a set of international laws. At the time, it put every country under Cabriel's control. Today, it functions as a set of guidelines and the laws of most countries are still based off it. Hien Kinde Also known as HK, and just Hien, it's the most addictive drug on Drezen. Extremely expensive and causing insanity and physical degradation, it has a very niche market.
